Fly Southwest: MDW to Columbus, Ohio

As the sun started to peek over the icy skyscrapers of the Windy City, I prepared myself for an adventure, embarking on a flight from the undefined chaos of Chicago to the tranquil civility of Columbus. The city of Columbus, though only a few hundred miles south-east of the frenetic pace of Chicago, felt like it belonged to another world entirely. Therein lies the magic of traveling. Apart from the cheap flights and commendable onboard services, Southwest's commendable flight cancellation policy also provided a safety net for uncertain schedules. Whether due to changes in work plans or the unpredictable nature of Chicago weather, flight cancellations no longer wracked my nerves. Southwest allowed me to cancel and reschedule flights without punitive charges, lending much-needed flexibility to my travel plans.
