Once aboard the spaceship, an earnest traveler may notice the absence of a certain old-world hierarchy, reminiscent of the Titanic’s class segregation. No tale of air travel can ever be truly complete without the mention of the illustrious in-flight services, or the ‘Flight Attendant Ballet’ as I like to call it. Then we move on to Southwest’s flight cancellation policy, or what I prefer to call 'Tickets to the Time Lottery'. A unique blend of generosity, flexibility, and a dash of unpredictability, promising a refund but meanwhile indulging in a playful game of chicken with the traveler's plans.
